"I see you with a woman in a red dress.  She's telling you that she wants to make all your sensual dreams come true..."

When a gorgeous stranger walks into the carnival tent where Riley Addison is telling fortunes, it's lust at first sight.  So what else can she do but give him a glimpse of a possible future--one that would be very good for both of them?  After that, all she has to do is show up at his hotel--in a hot little red dress, of course...

Marketing exec Jackson Lange has never fallen so hard so fast.  And he has every intention of taking the sultry fortune-teller up on her offer--until she introduces herself as his co-worker and personal nemesis Riley Addison.  Still, Jackson isn't giving up--he wants her no matter how much they disagree.  And with the seduction he's planned, he's confident Riley won't be arguing with him for long.

“You feel the attraction, too,” he said.

Riley wanted to refute Jackson's words, but she hated to lie, especially after his bald-faced honesty.  “I can’t deny that I find you...attractive.  But I’m not happy about it.”

“Well, I find you painfully attractive, and I’m really not happy about it.  I can’t understand or explain why a woman I consider a dragon-breathing, tightfisted, thorn in my side has me so worked up, but there it is.”

Riley raised her brows.  “Gee, you sure do have a way with words.  You get many dates with that sweet-talkin’ thing you do?”

“I’m not a sweet-talker--“

“No kidding.”

“I’m honest.  I wanted you the instant I saw you in that gypsy tent, and even the fact that you turned out to be the dreaded Riley Addison hasn’t changed that.  It’s like you exude some sort of...what are those things called?”

“Pheromones?”

“Yeah.  Well, your pheromones have my hormones all out of whack.  At work, we rub each other the wrong way, big time.  But we’re not at work.  And the last thing I’m thinking about right now is work.”  He stepped forward, and drew her into his arms until they touched from chest to knee.  Riley’s hands rose of their volition and settled in his upper arms while she drank in the delightful sensation of his body pressing against hers.

Oh, my.  He wasn’t kidding about being aroused.

He lowered his head slowly toward hers, and even as she lifted her face, she whispered, “This is so bad.”

“Yeah?  Feels pretty damn good to me.”

Super-sexy and peppered with clever dialogue.

Detra Fitch of Huntress Reviews.

A dreamy romance! Lots of hot times in this Harlequin Temptation and lots of clashes as well. Jacquie D'Alessandro has readers eating (Boston Creams) out of her hands and begging for more. An excellent love story to keep you warm during those snowy nights.

Have a question for you. Which scene came from your own experience in "We've got tonight?" I just picked up this book... I have enjoyed the stories you have written, that I have read, and I do believe this one will not fail you nor I.  Thanks and keep it up!

I just read We've got tonight and loved it.  This was your first book that I have read, and I will be sure to read many more!  It was such a sexy book and I could hardly put it down.  I read that you created one of the scenes from a personal experience and I was wondering if you would be willing to share what scene it was.  You did a great job with this book and you earned yourself another fan.  Thank You.

I love your website an your books.

Can't wait to read them.. Take care.  Laurie Nelson

I just finished reading We've Got Tonight in the Temptation line and really enjoyed it. Which scene did you get from your own life experience? I'm curious to know. The situations in the book were very realistic in that it could happen to ordinary people like me and my friends. I have Stroke of Midnight but haven't read it yet, but looking forward to it. Continued success to you. Janice Caccavone
